We believe that a laptop can be shipped, but our culture cannot. The Global Markets Accounting Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our rapidly expanding prime services business. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all brokerage related accounting and reporting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading the design, documentation, and implementation of policies, processes, and controls. This role will also be responsible for working cross functionally with legal, compliance and other teams within Anchorage as we prepare for swap-dealer registration with the National Futures Association. The role presents a unique and exciting opportunity to navigate the complexities of trading digital assets, derivatives and engaging in digital asset borrowing and lending   We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the The Global Markets Accounting Lead role: Technical Skills: ： • Demonstrate expertise in US GAAP with a focus on ASC 606 and ASC 815 and regulatory accounting requirements, ensuring accurate application to revenue recognition and accounting for prime brokerage services. • Expertise in accounting and regulatory reporting requirements for swap-dealers or related businesses, including knowledge of NFA filings and development of related procedures • Resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways, suggesting different potential approaches and adapting to new circumstances rapidly. • Established expertise in designing, implementing, and continuously improving daily and month-end prime brokerage accounting practices, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and industry best practices. • Apply advanced skills in Google Sheets to efficiently and reliably work with large data sets. • Proven ability to account for complex matrix organizational structures and intercompany transactions.
