Senior Software Engineer, Babylon Core

Babylon's mission is to bring Bitcoin's unparalleled security to the decentralized world via a new public Cosmos-SDK PoS blockchain and a suite of inter-chain protocols. Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain the core blockchain network software that powers Babylon full nodes, relayers between Bitcoin and Cosmos, and peripheral programs operated by stakeholders of the Bitcoin Staking protocol - Work closely with the cryptography and security team to keep the network secure - Optimize existing systems for scalability, efficiency, and reliability - Collaborate with other teams at Babylon to integrate new features and technologies Requirements: - Intimate knowledge of blockchain consensus and security - Experience with Cosmos SDK or similar blockchain frameworks - Strong Go or Rust programming skills - Remote-first, hiring across Europe and APAC
