This individual will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting month-end close and reporting processes. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p><strong>Contract to hire: 6 month contract </strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals for month-end and year-end close.</li> <li>Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reports.</li> <li>Manage multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange transactions</li> <li>Coordinate month-end and year end across international subsidiaries</li> <li>Handle intercompany reconciliations and eliminations</li> <li>Support the preparation of schedules for external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.</li> <li>Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and SOX (if applicable).</li> <li>Work closely with AP, AR, FP&amp;A, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.</li> <li>Provide support for special projects, system implementations, and process automation efforts.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><strong>Education &amp; Certification:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.</li> <li>CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry. Experience in inventory management is a plus</li> <li>Experience in a publicly traded technology, fintech, SaaS, or digital asset company a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.</li> <li>Strong foreign exchange transactions</li> <li>Strong intercompany reconciliation and Elimination experience</li> <li>Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in month-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.</li> <li>Familiarity with consolidation, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency a plus.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">Why Join BitGo?</strong></p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Disrupting an industry t
