Caldera is the leading rollup deployment platform supporting 75+ active blockchains. The engineering team builds the infrastructure that makes it easy for applications to deploy and operate their own rollups. As Senior Backend Engineer, Infrastructure, you will own significant components of Caldera's core infrastructure and backend systems that ensure the smooth operation of Caldera chains. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop backend systems for Caldera's rollup deployment and operations platform - Build features end-to-end from idea to production across distributed backend services - Improve the DevOps pipeline for reliable and secure chain deployment - Increase infrastructure reliability through improved observability and monitoring - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers on the team Requirements: - 5+ years of backend engineering experience in production environments - Proficiency in Go, Rust, or similar systems programming language - Strong foundation in distributed systems design and implementation - Experience with blockchain infrastructure (running nodes, RPC, indexers) is a significant plus - Familiarity with Ethereum and Layer 2 scaling solutions
