Smart Contract Engineer - Ethereum, Solidity

Clearmatics is the Launch Partner for the Autonity Project — an EVM-based public blockchain designed for decentralised derivatives clearing. The Smart Contract Engineer will work on the Layer 1 Engineering team. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain decentralised financial smart contracts on Autonity, including smart derivatives, DEX trading & settlement protocols, algorithmic stabilisation, data oracles, and liquid staking - Collaborate with quantitative researchers and protocol engineers to transform research models and prototypes into production-grade Solidity code - Work with Autonity core developers on enhancing L1 protocol contracts and integrating new functionality into the Autonity Go Client - Contribute to code reviews, security assessments, and documentation Requirements: - Strong Solidity development experience in a production environment - Understanding of the Ethereum stack and EVM internals - Familiarity with DeFi protocols (DEX, derivatives, oracles, staking) - Experience working with financial or quantitative research teams is a plus
