evolving cryptocurrency landscape.</p></div><p data-path-to-node="4">We are looking for more than a standard GAAP researcher; we need a <strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="67">Financial Architect</strong> who excels as both an analytical investigator and an operational leader in the role of <strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="174">Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting</strong>.</p> <p>Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will manage critical workstreams within our financial reporting function during a period of significant institutional scaling. In this Senior Manager leadership role, you will take the lead in directing key accounting policies , manage cross-functional projects, and lead teams (including offshore resources) to ensure strict compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements</p> <p>You aren’t just maintaining books - you are building and managing a definitive "source of truth" within a complex, high-volume trading and regulated derivatives environment. This role is a 50/50 split between serving as an advanced technical expert and an operational manager, bridging the gap between cutting-edge trading desks and institutional-grade, regulated financial statements.</p> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Operational Leadership &amp; Strategy:</strong> Manage technical accounting and reporting workstreams; set clear operational objectives, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee departmental schedules and budgets to ensure flawless execution.</li> <li><strong>Financial Normalization:</strong> Direct the forensic review and reconciliation of complex historical data, leading internal and external resources to ensure a robust, "audit-ready" foundation.</li> <li><strong>Advanced Technical Research:</strong> Act as a core internal authority on ASC 606 and 805, specifically regarding principal vs. agent nuances, M&amp;A integrations, and DeFi yield protocols.</li> <li><strong>Capital Markets Readiness:</strong> Lead the project management and drafting of sophisticated financial disclosures and MD&amp;A for potential registration statements, S-1/F-1 prospectus disclosures, and SEC engagements.</li> <li><strong>Global Systems Optimization:</strong> Design, implement, and monitor SOPs for offshore teams and direct reports, while tightening the integration between our crypto sub-ledgers and NetSuite to improve month-end cadence.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Target Experience &amp; Skills</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Background:</strong> Proven track record transitioning from Big 4 Audit/Technical Desks into Accounting Advisory (e.g., CFGI, FTI, EY, KPMG) or In-House Accounting leadership at a high-growth digital assets firm, FinTech startup, broker-dealer, or Investment Bank.</li> <li><strong>Regulated Entities Expertise:</strong> Direct, hands-on experience handling financial record keeping, regulatory capital computations, and filing frameworks for a <strong>CFTC Swap Dealer</strong>, Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), or SEC Broker-Dealer.</li> <li><strong>People &amp; Project Management:</strong> Experience managing multiple departments or workstreams, with a proven ability to lead large, high-priority projects and delegate e
