<div class="content-intro"><p></p> <p> </p> <p></p></div><p></p> <p>We are looking for a motivated and diligent Accountant to support the growth of our global business activities.</p> <p><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></p> <ul> <li>Perform accurate and timely general accounting and reporting activities, including journal entries, accrual calculations, and allocation postings</li> <li>Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines</li> <li>Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial records in compliance with IFRS and applicable local accounting standards</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports</li> <li>Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process</li> <li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, automation, and internal controls</li> </ul> <p><u>Skill Set and Qualifications</u>:</p> <ul> <li>ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification</li> <li>4+ years of relevant experience in accounting or audit, preferably within a multinational environment</li> <li>Strong technical knowledge and practical application of IFRS</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial management systems; experience with QuickBooks is an advantage</li> <li>Results-driven and committed to delivering high-quality work</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities</li> <li>Comfortable working in a multicultural setting and collaborating with international teams across different time zones</li> <li>Excellent written and spoken English</li> <li>Based in Mauritius</li> </ul> <p>Are you keen to work in a well-resourced startup environment, where your ideas, experience, and drive to find creative solutions makes a difference?
