Ripple Labs Inc. is seeking a skilled Corporate Counsel to join our growing and agile legal team. This exceptional opportunity enables you to support our wide range of product lines, including payments, custody, and stablecoin, while managing important vendor contracts. You will report directly to Ripple’s Deputy General Counsel and play a key role in our mission to implement innovative financial solutions successfully!</p> <h2>What You'll Do:</h2> <ul> <li>Assist the Company’s sales and business development teams with various commercial transactions. This includes drafting and negotiating term sheets and definitive documentation. You will also manage the deal process.</li> <li>Review, negotiate, and build templates and processes for vendor agreements.</li> <li>Manage and budget for external advisors engaged on such projects.</li> <li>Assist with other commercial or corporate matters as needed.</li> </ul> <h2>What We're Looking For:</h2> <ul> <li>J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.</li> <li>A minimum of 7 years of practice, ideally as a corporate attorney at a major law firm and at a fintech startup.</li> <li>Office will be in New York or San Francisco.</li> <li>Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Ripple’s product, marketing, engineering, security, tax, and finance teams to ensure agreements align with internal corporate policies and processes.</li> <li>Outstanding problem-solving skills, judgment, communication, and interpersonal abilities.</li> <li>Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and act decisively.</li> <li>Competence in presenting complex issues clearly and concisely, providing succinct, practical, and effective legal advice.</li> </ul> <p>At Ripple Labs Inc., we believe in encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment where every team member can add to our shared success.
