Software Engineer, Cross-Platform Rust

SpruceID is reimagining trusted interactions by creating software for packaging beliefs digitally, developing world-class open source products and libraries implementing open global standards in identity. Responsibilities: - Develop cross-platform libraries, server software, full-stack applications, and infrastructure using Rust and other technologies - Contribute to open-source identity and credentialing solutions - Work across the full stack from backend APIs to mobile and web frontends Requirements: - Strong aptitude for statically typed languages, memory management, and secure programming practices - 3+ years experience shipping widely-distributed backend software in statically-typed languages (Rust, Go, C#, or Java) - Experience building web or mobile frontends using JavaScript, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native - Experience with DevOps and infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure - Experience with digital identity, cryptography, data privacy, or blockchain technologies (e.g., Verifiable Credentials, Decentralized Identifiers, OAuth, OpenID Connect) is a plus - Fully remote (US-based)
