Built on customer-centric values, we endeavour to provide a professional, 24/7 multi-language customer support to help in a timely manner.</p> <p>As of today, Bybit is one of the most trusted, reliable, and transparent cryptocurrency derivatives platforms in the space.</p></div><div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="0" data-line="true">Legal Counsel</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="1" data-line="true"> </div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="2" data-line="true">Key Responsibilities:</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="3" data-line="true">Serve as the primary legal point of contact for incoming requests from courts, law enforcement, financial institutions, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies within Austria and the EU.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="4" data-line="true">Manage the full lifecycle of legal case files, including logging, assessment, coordination, response drafting, and secure archiving.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="5" data-line="true">Oversee the lawful disclosure of user data and account information in compliance with Austrian and EU legal frameworks</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="6" data-line="true">Support in handling user complaints and regulatory correspondence, ensuring appropriate legal positioning and clear documentation.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="7" data-line="true">Liaise with internal departments such as Compliance, Risk, and Customer Support to facilitate timely and coordinated case handling.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="8" data-line="true">Maintain up-to-date records and legal logs to ensure transparency, audit readiness, and reporting obligations are met.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="9" data-line="true">Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Austria and the EU that may impact internal case management procedures or disclosure obligations.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="10" data-line="true"> </div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="11" data-line="true">Requirements:</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="12" data-line="true">A law degree (LLB, JD, Mag. iur., LL.M., or equivalent)</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="13" data-line="true">Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably within an in-house legal team, regulatory authority, or law firm.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="14" data-line="true">Strong understanding of Austrian and EU laws relating to international contract law, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="15" data-line="true">Experience handling official legal requests such as court orders, or administrative inquiries.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="16" data-line="true">Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills.</div> <div data-zone-id="0" data-line-index="17" data-line="true">Excellent written and verbal communication skills in bo
