This role will report directly to the Global Director of Crypto Operations.</span></p> <p><strong>Things You Get To Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Primary responsibility for the daily monitoring and surveillance of all customer activity</li> <li>Primary responsibility for daily operational tasks including trading, new accounts, and cash management functions; <ul> <li>Cryptocurrency trading executions and exceptions (errors, corrections, etc.)</li> <li>Assist with customer onboarding, including KYC and account approval</li> <li>Review of general ledger accounts, identify and reconcile account discrepancies</li> </ul> </li> <li>Support the Anti-Money Laundering Program and investigations that result from suspected suspicious activity </li> <li>Proactively drive impactful changes across workflows, policies and tools </li> <li>Clearly communicate with internal and external partners in an effective, tactical, and insightful manner</li> <li>Ad hoc duties and projects as assigned </li> <li>Global remote location, core time around 9am to 5pm PT (working hours: 8 hours per day, holidays follow the US market holidays) </li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are (Must-Haves):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excited about what Alpaca is building!!</li> <li>3+ years of relevant experience in a broker-dealer, financial services, trading or cryptocurrency operations role</li> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience</li> <li>Familiarity with cryptocurrency, or strong desire to learn</li> <li>Work effectively and supportively within a team environment as well as work independently</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Must possess the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment</li> <li>Enjoys challenges and taking ownership of new responsibilities</li> <li>Inspired by Alpaca’s mission and enthusiastic about supporting our customer base and growing the platform</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span><strong>Who You Might Be</strong><span style="fon
